This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to elementary school students within a special education cooperative in Kansas. The role is full-time or part-time and onsite, serving multiple school districts within the region including North Lyon, Southern Lyon, Emporia, Chase County, Madison-Virgil, Hamilton, and Morris County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Kansas SLP license required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and staff.
